Savile Row Inspired Pure Cotton Poplin Shirt

I purchased one of these shirts last year and have since bought three more. I may purchase another couple too. The tailored fit isjust what I was looking for, button cuff, not baggy but with long tailsto stay tucked in. The fabric quality is just right, soft but not too thick. The shirts also iron up well and are ideal for work. My only negative would be the high price. I expected metal collar bones at nearly £50 a shirt, although the half price offer helps.

I used to buy many of the shirts in M&S store, but never tried Savil Row, I was always hesitating because I felt it is a bit over my budget. This by chance was the first one I got. The fit is just perfect; just perfect. I felt as it was tailored to my size in every curve. The luxury of the material can be felt immediately, even my colleagues at work noticed the new change in style. It is Unfortunate for the other brands M&S is selling, as I do not believe I would buy anything less than this one.

Not a particularly cheap shirt. The fabric on the collar edge was imperfect - it was puckered.

I would expect a really crisp, flash shirt from saville row that screams quality, the shirt did not measure up to that. I was not sure if the material would crease easily on wear so did not wish to take the chance. The blue was an odd pale blue, not the usual for mens shirts. The collar was not as classic as others. Overall did not meet our needs.

Normally I can just reach for a M&S shirt of my size but this one didn't fit. It was too tight under the arms and just did not feel right. Lovely material and quality though.

I've always been very pleased with the quality & fit of M&S clothes, until now. This was bought to wear for a special wedding. The price tag & Saville Row name both indicated exceptional quality & styling. However, this proved not to be the case on the first count. The material was virtually see-though & the sizing on the small size. On the plus side, the tailoring on the cuffs was lovely & the style was good but they did not compensate for the tightness across the chest area. Needless to say the shirt has been returned.

U bought this shirt,£60- an m and s suit £350 £m and s shoes £110 an m and s belt £40 I wore the outfit all day- didn't take the jacket off once- it looked the bees knees- when finally took the suit off the shirt had been dyed by the suit jacket- had stains all over the back from the suit jacket. So I was very annoyed by this- spending money doesn't mean it's any good- so 9 hours of wear for a shirt and now is going in the bin Ridiculous

These shirts have got it all. Great fit - not too slim, excellent quality fabric, nice collar and lovely colour. A bit pricey but worth paying the extra for the top quality. A good first hit from this exciting M&S collaboration.
