From across the globe to close to home, we bring you the best in quality wine. Where will your journey take you?
Meet Emma Dawson, our wine buyer and recently acclaimed title owner of the prestigious Master of Wine, who will be on hand to give us her top tips for wines.
Emma buys wines from many regions around the world including Burgundy, Bordeaux, Italy and South America.
This month's top tips:
1. For inexpensive whites and reds, try to drink them within a year or two maximum of the vintage stated on the bottle. These wines taste best when the fruit is young and most expressive
2. Try to store your wines away from heat sources to ensure they don’t tire. Keeping them away from light sources or fridges and heaters will make sure they last longer
3. Explore wines by country. If you like one wine from a particular country you’ll probably appreciate other grape varieties that benefit from a similar climate
