THE REWORKED HARRINGTON

This season, swap the formal blazer for an on-trend Harrington jacket – the ideal smart-casual cover-up for the warmer months, says Best of British model Oliver Cheshire.

A key piece in any gentleman’s wardrobe, the Harrington is equally at ease layered over a shirt and tie in lieu of a suit jacket, or paired with brogues, chinos and a sharp knit. And if your style is a bit more casual, you can always match it with rolled-up jeans and a white T-shirt for James Dean’s iconic Rebel Without a Cause look. But the thing I love the most about this jacket is the puppytooth print – it’s popped up in every major fashion show recently, and it’s set to be a huge trend this summer. A word of warning, though: keep this jacket well hidden when not in use, as I can assure you, the lady in your life will definitely be trying to pinch it!
