Game, set, match

The UK's biggest tennis tournament is about to begin. Whether you spend it couch-side or court-side this year, put a Mediterranean spin on Wimbledon with these twists on traditional drinks and snacks

Top seeded snacks

Move over Pimm's

Even champions have their day, so step away from Pimm's and make our sangria-inspired spritzer your first serve instead. Blood oranges and red grapes make a perfect doubles pairing in this gently sparkling drink. Add a dash of gin and pour over ice for an indisputable winner.

A match made in heaven

Strawberries and cream are an iconic combo for a reason, but once you’ve tried these balsamic and basil-marinated berries there’ll be no going back. Fragrant and syrupy, serve them with a scoop of your favourite vanilla ice cream – you can find the full recipe below.

Smash-hit salads

It’s worth making a racket over these fresh takes on classic salads. Our in-store courgette, peas and wheat berries salad features fregola – a bead-shaped pasta from Sardinia – while our zingy potato, red onion, rocket and poppy-seed salad was inspired by an Israeli recipe.

Grand slam sarnies

Swap your regular cucumber sandwiches for these Italian-inspired big hitters. Fill toasted stone-baked ciabatta with creamy Welsh goat’s cheese and chargrilled courgette ribbons. Squeeze over a little lemon juice, then slice into fingers. Fit for the royal box.
