Pure Wool 2 Button Donegal Jacket

This jacket was bought to replace the identical jacket which was damaged by accident. My husband was happy with the original jacket and so wished to replace it with the same type rather than choosing another style.

Great smart or casual jacket, lovely quality, very versatile.

This jacket is rough to the touch but not as rough as a Harris Tweed. The photos are an accurate picture of the shading but the jacket just lacked that quality feel, I guess I just didn't feel special when I put it on. Also for a pure wool jacket the jacket is quite lightweight. Hard to put my finger on why I didn't really like it but this jacket is going back.

I was looking for a jacket. I was in Basildon store and I found this jacket. It was not in my size. I ordered one on line. I found it was a good fit.

Nice looking jacket but quite slim fit so had to go back as too tight. Quite rough texture being 100% wool.

I tried on various jackets size 38" both short and regular at my local M&S store and decided to order online a 38" short Donegal jacket. Unfortunately this was too short in this style of jacket so I had to return it. The jacket would have looked better with two side vents rather than the single middle vent. Other than that the material and style was excellent.

Purchased to wear at friends wedding very pleased with the jacket.

Husband is 6'4" so its difficult to find jackets and shirts long enough. Bought this jacket in a 48" long and it was just about OK but not generous. However, the finish of this product is poor. One of the pockets was not sewn properly which meant pens ended up in the bottom of the lining. Jacket returned and full refund given without question.

A lightweight jacket beautifully made, suitable to wear with casual trousers, jeans, or smarter trousers. Nice without the elbow patches all casual jackets seem to have, ( I know that's the fashion, but my husband doesn't like them.) The only criticism is that it fits perfectly across the shoulders, sleeve length is good, but it was a little big around the stomach area, but not enough to put us off. Good value for the money having looked and tried elsewhere at higher prices.
