Pure Cotton Waxy Hidden Placket Anorak

This jacket is fabric lined so is much nicer to wear than a normal waterproof and feels more like a jacket as a result. It's not so huge that it drowns you but covers well for heavy summer showers - a necessity in Scotland! My one gripe is the hood - it is huge. It either falls more than half way down my face or sits perched only half on my head which makes it less likely to stay on. Tightening the strings just pulls it over my eyes. This jacket isn't the only one around with this problem but I have found it far worse than most. I've seen some jackets with a tab to shorten the hood length and might try and attach one myself to make it wearable. It's such a shame on an otherwise great waterproof summer jacket.

It's more a dark khaki colour jacket and I absolutely love it! It's so flattering and doesn't make you feel so hot and bothered like some jackets with a zip! So happy I've bought another! Well done M&S!

Really liked this jacket but I should have listened to the other reviews as this jacket was definitely not chocolate colour, it was more of a dark sludgy green, therefore had to return it.

Had the feeling that this was going to be just right for me and was not disappointed. On arrival, seemed lighter in colour than the online photo but the shade worked well. Well made with details to make it stand out. Comfy and light to deal with the ever changing face of British weather!

Liked the look of this online but in reality, the fit was no good as there was no shape to it. Very square.

as other reviews have said but that adds to its charm, if it was longer it would just look boring!

Found what i was looking for. Stylish but practical wax look effect jacket. Waterproof with hood,lightweight,easywear for summer/showery days out.

I love this jacket, lightweight yet keeps the chill out. The pockets are a little higher as one reviewer said but the pocket openings are on the side so this doesn't really matter. I've worn it a couple of times now and had compliments on all occasions, in fact I m going to purchase another one in Chocolate. Love it M&S

Love the style and fabric of this jacket, and both colours it comes in, although I would never call the darker one 'chocolate' - it looks like a dark olive or khaki to my eyes. But it is short on me, and I'm a short person! It looks fine, as long as you don't need to wear something longer underneath. I rely on layers all year round, so it's not very practical for me.
