Pure Cotton Waist Slip

I bought an M&S cotton white slip around 10 years ago and still have it. That's when cotton was cotton and the quality was good. Bought one last week and was shocked at the material. So thin, so badly made, barely my size. they skimp so much on the material it is absolutely appaling. a bad buy. would not recommend. so sad how things have gone downhill from my all time favourite department store - but not any longer. You are better off buying a piece of material and getting it sewed.

Good in terms of quality, fabric and stitching etc. and a nice slip all round. For me, the problem is size. As a slim petite, I needed a size 12 to fit my hips, but this slip, though a size 12 and fits my hips OK, is far too big round my waist. (And I'm not particularly small in the waist) A smaller size may have suited me better round the waist, but might have been too tight on the hip.

A very nice slip in good quality cotton but why these days does nothing fit at the waist. Do we all have to wear hipsters? Otherwise very nice to replace my 15 year old cotton slips.

A little pricey for what it is, but I would like another, and in black cotton to go under darker skirts.

ideal buy for summer, this replaces another I have worn to shreds! would love to find the same in black, not all summer dresses suit white slips. Generously sized.

Very nice slip, but I found like a previous reviewer that the waist was too big. I would also like to see M&S make longer waist slips than 29" for maxi skirts/dresses. Would purchase again but in a size smaller than normal as there was too much material around the waist.

Very pleased with this cotton waist slip as it doesn't ride up under man made fabrics. I tried to buy a shorter one as well but they are out of stock in store and on line .... emphasising their popularity. Just right for wearing under summer skirts.

Excellent product, have been searching for replacement cotton waist slips for years since my previous M&S ones wore out. Glad M&S have finally reintroduced the cotton waist slips.

I have lost a little weight recently but the waist on this slip was very oversized compared to the hips. I will keep it but currently the waist sits on my widest point, my hips!

I found the slips to fit comfortablely without being too tight, does not cling to skin, perfect if allergic to nylon, value for money.
