Pure Cotton Textured Shorts

First appearance is very good but overall the design is actually very poor. The Zips on the side pockets are a great irritation, the designer possibly thought they added to the style but needs to remember that style is trumped by useability always. The main problem is the waist band, insufficient elastic and a tie off which continually slips such that I very nearly returned them to M&S. My wife however desided to put her dressmaking skills into use and added a band of elastic inside the waist band so that they don't keep falling down anymore. I wouldn't buy them again and I certainly wouldn't recommend them to anyone else.

Baggy and comfortable. Great for slinging on when you get home and want to be super relaxed, 3 zipped pockets is unusual in a product like this and worth having. You could put these on over swimming trunks and happily nip to the beach bar for a long and relaxed lunch (with your wallet in a zipped pocket!) Not sure what they'll wash like, but for £17 you really can't go wrong.

Bought these as a replacement for a pair of elasticated waist type ones. These are by far more comfortable especially with the string type waist fastener. They have 3 zip pockets and are ideal for a general wander about in the few decent days weather we get in this country.

Ordered online and collected in store, very good quality material and tailoring with a nice adjustable tie string waist for comfort but very disappointed with the leg length, at least 3 inches too long and on me look like Bermuda shorts, regrettably will be returning for a refund.

Needed new swim trunks for this years holidays. Went on M & S web site and decided to purchase these trunks. Ordered on line, collected from my local store the next day. Trunks were as described on line, stylist, good fit and extremely good value. In fact, decided to order another pair!

Husband pleased with these shorts. Just waiting for some decent weather to wear them!
