Pure Cotton Slim Fit Chinos

I really should have listened to the other reviews. The trousers were too small, I have always worn 36/31, the material too shiny and I returned them immediately. I have reverted to GANT as an alternative, which with their sale were the same price and infinitely better quality.

Well fitting, good cut and nice material

They are good slim style but also smaller than the M&S normal - I'll only be able to wear them standing up! The finish is also not to my liking, giving the impression of having a weather proof or some such coating although this is not claimed.

Too short! I have been buying M&S trousers for years and 36/31 have always been a perfect fit. Last 3 pairs this size have been returned too short in leg. I am in my sixties so I am not getting taller but these were at least an inch too short. I like your chinos but 33inch inside leg would be too long so sadly and reluctantly after countless years as a customer I need to find another brand which can offer a better fit. I would however be interested to know why there has been this reduction or reinterpretation of a 31" inside leg measurement. As I said, my shape or size has not changed.. I look forward to your response.
