Brushed Cotton Checked Thermal Pyjamas

I haven't owned a pair of pyjamas for years; not since I became old enough to buy my own nightwear! I'm usually a commando sleeper but wanted something cosy for winter that was also sexy and provocative. It was the classic regular check pattern that caught my eye. It stood out from other, more sophisticated weaves through it's archetypal simplicity. That and the word Winceyette evoked nostalgic memories of soft sheets, wool blankets, eiderdowns and Mother's gentle lullabies... Compared to the rest of the M&S range these jym-jams look decidedly vintage, 'Army issue' almost! I could imagine George Orwell in these, or Michael Palin for some reason. This nightwear will complement perfectly any dressing gown, pipe and slippers ensemble. Hipsters will delight in wearing them ironically. I'm 176cm tall Ch40" Leg29" W38" usually wear size L. The top fits comfortably with some room to accommodate middle-age spread. Trousers just about touch the ground with my stubby 29" legs. This is fine and cosy around the wards but one should stay off the lawns in the morning dew...

The quality was good excellent value for money. Colours are nice and they will keep my Dad warm. The only downside is the length of the trousers were long and had to be taken up. Otherwise as far as service is concerned we ordered them online on the Saturday evening and they were delivered on the Tuesday morning. Fantastic.
