This coat surpassed expectations. It looked even better on than in the picture. It was excellently tailored and the finish and styling was terrific. We wanted something fitted and stylish and it was. The actual material comes up a little darker than the picture so from a distance it look dark gray, which was fine, hard to believe they could produce a coat this good for the price. The M and S staff were typically helpful when it came to ordering.

I ordered this coat for my son, who lives in London, for Christmas after hours of deliberating and emails. I ordered medium and large, as the size chart was not very good. The date for delivery was the 16th Dec 2014. Whilst in town last week (12th) I saw it had 20% off so bought a medium size in the shop; there were no large sizes left. When I returned home I had had an email to say my order had been cancelled, no stock. So now I have a medium which I think may be too small, and no large. Be warned internet buyers. Its basically, click and hope for the best, after hours of wasting your time. Totally unreliable.

Bought this coat for my husband and looks great - the cut is simple and stylish and the fabric seems really nice - the subtle check pattern makes a nice change from the usual plain black or brown. Very pleased.
