Post Surgery Tummy Control Spotted & Ruched Front Swimsuit

although described as a post operative garment the fit is far too low and the prosthetic shows and so I have had to return the item - very disappointed as I thought that I had found a stylish and reasonably priced swimsuit

II am so pleased with this costume it flatters and makes you feel good. I found the pocket hole for my prosthesis to be the correct size and the costume holds everything in the right place. I had to buy a size larger but then I always do with M&S costumes. This was exceptionally good value for money so much so I purchased another one. Well done M&S

Having had a recent mastectomy I was dreading trying to find a swimsuit that was modern and didn't make me look frumpy. I think this one is excellent value and the styling is really great but I was glad I'd read previous reviews as you do need to buy a size larger than usual! Just wish there was another in this style in a different colour or fabric.

I'm recovering from breast cancer having had a lumpectomy and breast reduction in my "good" breast. My new body although cancer free is an odd shape and I decided I definitely would never wear swimwear again. Then I found M&S post surgery swimsuits. This particular model is very comfortable to wear. The bust area is shaped and lightly padded with the facility of adding a prothesis if necessary. The front is slightly draped and very flattering. I feel sexy again! Thank you M&S

Pockets are very small not suitable for prosthesis

I am very disappointed with the choice of post surgery costumes this year. I ordered this costume in size 16 as I know I have to order a size bigger than I need when it comes to M and S costumes - mainly because of the tummy control aspect which makes them difficult to get off when wet. I don't really like black and thought that maybe with the spots it would be fine but I decided not and ordered two purple costumes instead but in size 18 - please see my review. I do feel that it's time suppliers tested fabrics in clorine so that they last longer than six months and only being worn on average once a week!

the top line of the swimsuit was a little baggy and would have benefitted form being adjustable the weight of the swimming prothesis had a tendency to pull down the top of the swimsuit.

Good cut, nice material, fitted perfectly. For the price it was of exceptional value.

Very snug fit, cut pretty low round the sides and the pocket openings are ridiculously small , so small my breast form simply wouldn't go in. I wear 34G bras and bought a 16 costume. Returned it to the shop with all the other M&S post surgery costumes I tried, for that very reason - can't get the prosthesis into the pocket.. Huge disappointment.

Good buy - found it a bit on the small side, however after reading other reviews ordered bigger size, which fitted OK. Nice fit around the bust area and sides come up high enough to cover scars - if its your first swimsuit after your operation - buy with confidence.
