Pleat Front Culottes

I was very pleased with the culottes, they fit well and are comfortable but look smart when teamed with a smart top. I wore them ona night out with the girls and they felt good - smart but casual. Excellent value especially as I got them in the sale.

As ever M&S clothing is very good quality. As I'm small they are full length on me but still a lovely fit and very easy to wear.

Really smart, excellent fit and great fabric - light enough for the summer but didn't crease even after 14 hours in a very full suitcase! More simple good quality basics like these please M&S!

Culottes ! I was pleased to see them back in fashion but mad at myself for throwing lots of pairs out a while back ! I purchased these black culottes online from M & S last week and the first pair I received were massive, even though I had ordered my usual size. I ordered a 22 and they were so big on me, the waist fell down over my hips. I reordered a 20, as I loved the quality of the fabric. The 20 are fine, and they do fit me with a slightly relaxed fit. I suspect going down again to an 18, would have meant that the hips would have been tight. The length is just right to wear with long boots underneath or shoes. I haven't yet tried the culottes with ankle boots, to know whether that style would suit me or not. The culottes will make a nice change from trousers and cropped jeans. I have worn them in a casual outfit, with a black & cobalt sleeveless top and with the M & S matching black top with peplum and tie waist. Both outfits were perfect and I am sure that I will invest in more culottes, if M & S introduce more styles to the A/W ranges.

Really love these! Flattering flat waist band, really comfy, great with a tucked in Breton stripe top.
