PETITE Mock Layered Top

The layered design of this top was a nice idea but even though I took note of previous reviews and went up a size it was still too tight across the bust (and I'm no Dolly Parton) and just felt uncomfortable. The rest of it was a bit too boxy and unflattering so going up two sizes wouldn't have worked. The gold button at the back neck fastening looked cheap, possibly plastic. Ok if you have long hair to cover it. Anyway, the top had to go back I'm afraid.

I think this top will be very versatile. It fits me perfectly and I am looking forward to wearing it casually during the day and formally for the evening,

This top is really lovely. Could be dressed up for an evening out or just as easily worn with jeans. Just love it

I like this top very much but the sleeves seem to have been cut a bit narrow and so find movement restricted. I am not a big person infact petite so I don't know why this has happened. The material is lovely and the colour good, very stylish and softly lined. But I will be sending it back because of the fit, shame.

I wear 6 or 8 in the petite range but the 8 was very small and tight and I had to regretfully send it back. It was a lovely style though and I might re-order the 10 at some point. I would have rated it higher if the sizing had been more accurate.

I ordered my usual size 8 and to my disappointment found that it was tighter across the bust than my other M & S tops in a petite 6. Such a shame, but returning and not re-ordering as cannot trust the sizing.

I thought this top was quite pretty, but it is made of a very thin crochet type material which I think would just snag far too easily and quickly look scuffy. The front hem on mine was also wonky so I returned it. It was true to size.
