Padded Down Filled Jacket with Stormwear™

This coat is fantastic. I'm a 'large' 12 but the medium size fits with room for a jumper underneath. I love the length of the coat, which is so practical in the British climate - I never get cold or wet when wearing it. The hood is also well-designed as it doesn't easily blow off my head in a strong wind and has a detachable fur trim. The style is flattering for this kind of coat and I have had lots of complements when wearing it. It's excellent value for money when you consider how much similar coats are on the market for.

I wanted a coat for dog walking and did a lot of research before buying it. This coat is like wrapping myself up in a quilt, it's lovely, warm and comfortable. I haven't worn it in the rain yet but hope that it will be waterproof. I think it's great value for money and am chuffed to bits. Thank you once again M&S I love you!!

This coat is absolutely amazing. The only problem being I ordered the medium being an average size 12. However, found it was quite large. I then went to order a small and found it had sold out online. Thankfully I found it in store but unfortunately had to travel 70 miles to get it! But boy is it worth it. It fits like a glove and is the warmest coat I have ever had. It puts my North Face parka to shame!

This is a lovely long winter coat which is a bit like wearing a duvet, but it's surprisingly lightweight. The belt is good as it gives some shape and definition. Zipped pockets are useful. Hood actually stays up and is nice and warm. Going to be very useful when the snow arrives. Good value and just what I wanted.

This is the first feather and down coat I've bought and I'm converted. Lovely and warm. Great length for me (I'm 5'10") as it comes below the knee, but if you're short you might feel swamped. I'm a size 14 and the medium fitted well - the large was far too big. The belt is dead easy to clip and unclip - it's a lever style mechanism, no need for jamming nails in it or anything. The pockets are fleece lined, so also lovely and snug. I'm really pleased with it and it's keeping me warm on the school run.

Bought this coat twice now as want to keep the 2nd one for when the 1st one has got too old to wear as it is so lovely and warm and fits like a dream Thank you M & S

Warm, stylish and perfect fit. I'm 5ft and the coat came to just below my knee. I took the fur trim off the hood, personal choice. I'm really pleased with the coat and would definitely recommend this coat to others.

Bought this coat with high expectations which were not materialised. Found the coat still very bulky and although I am tall (1.78cm) and slim I felt like a stuffed sausage in it. Looking around me very few women look good in a belted voluminous coat. The length for me was great. The fact that the hood could not be detached was another minus point. .

At last! A long line warm water resistant coat. Not even those outdoor brands have thought of this. Whenever you get caught in rain it's always the top part of your legs to your knees that get wet. Not with this coat. Well done m&s! Next year make one that's completely water proof for the really heavy torrential rain that's becoming more frequent. As for the belt I thought you had to prise it open with your nails too but if you push in at the back almost like a lever movement it does open. Hope this helps....

I have been looking for a coat to keep me warm on the school run on cold/wet winter days and this one is just the job! I am 5ft 10" (size 8) and the small size was a perfect fit. It is mid calf length on me which is great as covers the top of my boots to keep me completely warm, dry and cosy! I can't wait for the cold frosty mornings so that I put it to the test. Even my hubby commented on what a nice coat & good buy it was!
