Pure Cotton Meadow Shirt

I am delighted with this shirt. The colour is really vibrant and, apart from the embroidered front panels, the material used is a beautifully soft fine jersey cotton. It is wonderfully comfortable. I think it will prove versatile and suitable to wear throughout the year, apart from in hot weather. Although some reviews say the sizing is on the small size with snug sleeves, I found it just right for myself. It would be good to have this design made up in other strong colours.

I am a bit disappointed with this garment, love the colour and design of the front with the raised appliqué, but it is in two different types of fabrics, which is not mentioned in description, the sleeves and the panels are made of a type of jersey, thicker and quite warm, even the shade of colour is slightly different. Also I agree with other reviewers it does tend to cling to the rolls around the middle. However I am going to keep it.

Very comfortable style and fabric, but rather too limp to do the style justice. Upper half of garment fits well, lower half too baggy. Sleeves not comfortable rolled up, and when down are too long for a size 8. I will need to shorten both the sleeves and the body. If I had tried it on in a store I would not have bought it, but disadvantages do not merit sending it back across the world.

I loved the colour and the no peep was perfect as you couldn't see the extra buttons that keep the peep away. The shirt looked really pretty from the front but unfortunately, because of the fitted nature of the item, the back just didn't sit correctly and the hem rose to my belt line. I normally wear a 14 shirt but I ordered a 16 and it was still cut too narrowly around the waist. I am 5 foot 9 inches and take a 14/16 and have other fitted shirts which happily skim the (not large) middle of my body. If you have a toned midriff then this is for you; I loved the shirt but it didn't love me! As the fit was not good for me I have rated the value as low and the overall item as average.

I am quite big busted and this shirt does not pull or gap at all. I love the softness of the fabric and the lovely vibrant colour. Lets have more of the same.

If you like green, you 'll love this shade - it is apple green rather than citrus lime/yellow which can be a bit harsh. Easy to wear style with roll up sleeves in very soft cotton. Wear it with a camisole open or buttoned, but I got a size larger as it is shaped. Good for cooler summer days and into autumn with a gilet.
