Multiway Lace Print Ombre Skater Dress

I really liked this dress, and if I were younger I would have kept it. However , good taste is knowing when a style is for someone else, however much you like it.

This dress had a luxurious silky feel which was lovely to wear. It is basically a shoulderless dress (which was not clear from the description), with long drapes of fabric that can by tied or draped across the shoulders in a multitude of ways. The fabric is heavyweight and full so it hangs beautifully but is probably a bit heavy for a suitcase if you are constrained by weight. On the minus side it has no openings and has to be pulled on over the head. It was a little tight fitting over and under the bust so getting it on was a little problem but getting it off again was more difficult. However it was worth the struggle. The dress was stunning once it was on. I am only 5'1" and it was a good length on me - just below the knee. Unfortunately as I don't have much bust I am nervous of shoulderless dresses. I struggle to keep them up so it was not really for me but it was a very tough decision to send it back.

From the photograph, i had expected it to be cotton and maybe i should have read the description more. If you want to have the bother of tying a dress, then maybe this one is for you. Regret i had to return mine.

This dress is lovely , it is really tight at the top so worth buying the next size up

Gorgeous material and design - looks and feels really luxurious and the skirt flows as you move. The fit is a bit off though. I'm a standard size 12 in all M&S clothes, and sometimes a 10 in tops, and yet the size 12 was so tight in the elastic around the top of the dress it was hard to get on (although the chest size was accurate). I changed it for a 14 which seemed to be a bit better, but then of course it is designed for a larger chest size and so looked rather odd on me. I'm going to keep it and try to alter the top as the material is so beautiful though. It would have been better if it had a zip down the side to get rid of this problem and then I would have kept the 12.
