Merino Wool Rich Slim Fit V-Neck Jumper with Silk

lovely fitting jumper and great style

I have worn this item once, the day after I picked it up from an M+S store. I was doing nothing that should have caused a problem with this item (worn during the evening at a quiz in our local club). This morning I decide to wear it again and I was very surprised to see a 2-3 inch rip in the neck area. This cannot possibly have been caused by me doing a quiz !! I do not know if the item had this damage before I had worn it, or whether it happened - somehow - during the evening. Either way it shows the item was not fit for purpose. Hopefully this is a "one off" I will of course return the item to the store sometime during the next few days. In the meantime I would advise anyone purchasing this item to examine it in-store before paying for it.

This wool and silk jumper is not thick enough winter but is very good for warmer spring or autumn weather. The colour is vibrant and I have also bought the purple version which is equally as attractive.

Bought as a gift for son in law he was very pleased.

I have purchased several items over the years through M&S and this is the first item that has nor lived up to the strong brand. I am now taking the jumper back for the second time due to it fraying after being washed at the recommended temp etc. M&S service as usual has been second to none I am merely commenting on the poor quality of the jumper itself.

good all round service and quality of jumper the first one I had to return due to a fault but the second jumper was fine
