A remarkably well-balanced example of premium Australian Shiraz. This has a rich purple colour, and plenty of ripe blackcurrant, with underlying notes of black pepper, chocolate and mulberry.

About this bottle: The grapes for this wine are 100% Shiraz, sourced from the Adelaide Hills area of Southern Australia. This region is renowned for its fine, well-balanced wines, partly the result of cool climate, high altitude vineyards that allow the grapes to ripen fully but retain complexity and firm acidity. The wine has been aged in French oak barrels for 18 months before bottling.

A sumptuous full-bodied Pinot Noir with seductive wild berry and cherry aromas over a smooth, complex palate.

About this bottle: From the Wairau Valley, this classic Kiwi Pinot Noir was made by local expert Matthew Large and blended by M&S winemaker Jeneve Williams. The grapes were sourced from from high quality vineyards and blended to create a finely balanced wine that was matured in French oak to integrate the flavours and add subtle spicy depths. Drinking well now and for the next two years.

M&S Winemaker Belinda Kleinig selected this sassy Sonoma red, made by a team known for making esteemed Cabernet Sauvignon from Napa and Sonoma, and set out to make an everyday red for wine lovers. Acclaimed Bristol, UK artist and illustrator Ben Newman brought Bacchus to modern life on the label.

Aromas of redberries are combined with spice and a hint of truffle, whilst the palate shows lovely silky tannins, soft acidity and a long concentrated finish.

About this bottle: Typical Pinot Noir characters leap out of the glass in this vibrant, fine example of cooler climate wine making from Chile. Maiten Pinot Noir is a special selection of a specific block from a single vineyard in the emerging Leyda valley. Winemaker Viviana Navarrete has sculpted a classic Pinot Noir with medium palate weight, subtle use of oak and complex spicy notes.
