Maternity Metallic Effect Knitted Poncho

Hard to tell from the photo but there are no holes to put your arms through (maybe that is how a poncho is meant to be?). As a fan of wraps which enable you to easily use your arms this felt rather constrained as to reach out you had to lift the whole front of the garment which didn't give a great look or feel - will also be cumbersome after pregnancy and not help when handling a baby in addition to letting in cold air!

I ordered this hoping it would look okay even though I'm not pregnant - and it does. It's just a pretty poncho to wear over tight jeans. My only concern is that it is made of cotton and man-made fibres so won't help me stay warm in cold drafty houses this Christmas... As such will probably return.

I was a bit concerned about the fit when ordering but the only thing maternity about it seems to be that you can breastfeed while wearing it. The sparkle is very subtle and I think it makes a classy addition to my autumn wardrobe.
