Magicwear™ Bum & Tum Bodyshaper Shorts 1 Pair Pack
Need some tweeking
These have a tendency to rip and are just not high enough. They have a good though not perfect combination of tightness and comfort. These aren't long lasting - after a few washes the material deteriorates. The material is akin to tights with lots of elastine. Also often out of stock!

It's value for your money. Firm but has the tendency to rip I suspect. But works for now. Best to buy a couple.

I find shorts more comfortable and supportive than the traditional pantie girdle, but being 5'9" and a size 14 I think I should have ordered large instead of medium because they're not quite high enough.

Magic bum & tum shaper shorts
Based on previous reviews, I decided to give these a try & ordered some online.
I have only tried 1 pair on out of the 3 or 4 pairs I bought but I am very pleased to say they certainly seem to be magic knickers or shorts in this case.
I am looking forward to using these magic bodyshaper shorts in the warmer weather when I will be able to wear skirts or dresses again without the fear of my inner thighs becoming sore after rubbing together when walking.
I spent all last summer in trousers because I didn't want to feel uncomfortable with sore thighs so well done M&S.

Biggest size far too small!
I thought the price of these was a bargain. I like the style and shape of these types of underwear as I don't need to worry about dresses blowing in the wind (for dignity!) and it adds extra warmth. I bought the largest size available online (XL) as I'm a 14-16, tending to wear more size 16 clothes for a looser more comfortable fit. They came in a box labelled XL. I know they are designed to be tight and stretch but this is ridiculous! Looking at them they are exactly the same size as some trousers that my 4month old niece wears!!! I'm really not joking! Nevertheless I thought maybe they work miracles and really do stretch a lot. I couldn't get them up past my knees and even had trouble putting one foot through. I don't know if a size 6 or smaller has been accidentally been put in the wrong (sealed) packet/ box or if the size label of XL is the equivalent to a size 6 or 8. Either way, I'm disappointed because I cannot physically wear them. I have bought 3others from M&S in the last year in similar styles (Length, shape etc) which all fit wonderfully. I can only think that this range must be designed for smaller women so that XL is not what you would expect from a regular XL size. I think anyone over a size 6/8 would struggle to get them past their knees let alone up their legs, round their thighs and their tummy.
