Rated 2 out of 5 by Verified Reviewer Thermal top with merino wool?
I bought this because of two words, thermal and wool. I wanted a running top that would keep me warm. The sleeves are thinner than other long-sleeved running tops and they are full of holes. I couldn't gauge how warming the body was or was not, because my arms were turning to ice. All I can think is it's supposed to be worn under another top in the cold. In which case, the sleeves would be really annoying. It may well do the job in the heat, but it needs a completely different name. Sorry M&S, not your best.

Love the M & S sports range. Very comfortable great fit and length too.
Their quality this year in sports wear has greatly improved.
More colours please and keep up the good work

This is a good fit, soft and with a long body so it should not ride up. I bought the same size as I would for underwear, and was pleased that it has a good amount of stretch around the hips. As I bought it as a base layer for walking, I was disappointed that the sleeve fabric is not the Marino wool mix that the body is made from but a thinner polyester, however would be ok if you are using it for running. Also would have liked a small zip cover to stop the top of the zip pressing into my neck when zipped up.

This would have been a good buy but unfortunately the arms have air texted holes!!!!. I tried it on & stood outside to test & the cold wind just came through the arms whats the point in having thermals like this?
Such a shame as this would have been a perfect top for Golf.

I bought this to wear at my Pilates class in the Winter and ordered the 16 as I like things a bit looser to exercise, but it is fitted and I think it is meant to be to keep you warm so I kept it. It is great, nice and lightweight and does the jobs well, when I am warm I unzip the neck. Just what I wanted for a cold village hall.
