PLUS Linen Rich Wide Leg Trousers

These trousers are fabulous I brought both navy and white to wear for work. In fact I now have two pairs in each colour, I would certainly recommend them.

Trousers, with pockets, linen for the heat, dressy enough for work. Perfect. I bought a 26 and a 28 and on the same day a 24 from the non-Plus range. All of these trousers fit me. Why is it so? These are pretty long on my 5 foot 8 frame, but may shrink a little when washed. Fair to say, I've kept them all - but I can see why people are confused by the sizing.

I ordered 22 for comfort but had to return and change for 20 as there is plenty of room for comfort they do come up a bit long but not a problem for me as I am very tall in all a nice buy .

Nice soft lightweight linen blend fabric which gains a little more substance when washed. Nice comfy knitted cotton waistband with drawstring which sits on the waist. The legs are wide and parallel which is what I needed because I have large calves and my ankles swell in the heat. The regular fit are also perfect on me (size 22) but when I sit down, the trouser bottoms tend to be tight and rub on my lower legs which is uncomfortable, BUT these trousers still drape around my lower leg when I sit and so not only are they comfortable, but they still look nice, When standing, they also drape well, much better I would say, than the illustration on line. To get the true 'designer lagenlok baggy look, I went up a size, but these trousers I feel would have retained their virtue at my regular size. I did have to cut 2 to 3 inches of the legs on the standard length, but that is a small price to pay at 22.50 when the designer equivalent would be anything from 70.00 upwards. thank you M&S.

I was not sure what the answer was about the fit being too small or too big. I bought two pairs of these trousers because they had my size, although I would have preferred the pure linen ones. I wore the first pair and they fitted well when I put them on. Within less than an hour they stretched so much and got so wide that they looked two sizes too big. It was an embarrassment to keep wearing them during the day. Absolutely terrible. The material is not good and loses its shape very quickly. I shall now return the second pair before I wear it, but am VERY disappointed.

Got my normal size and length, and was very disappointed ! They were FAR TOO LONG, and I mean 8-10 inches longer then the usual ' regular' length trousers I buy. Where is your quality control ??!

Far too long, will be returning them.

I bought these for my husband as lounging trousers as the linen in men's is so formal. He loves them and I would buy more if the colours were better. I don't think white would stay white long !

Very pleased to be able to buy linen trousers in a plus size. I have had to shorten them but they are perfect for my holiday.

Lovely linen trousers bought for holiday, not as dark as I would have liked but ok. I am 5'2" and had to shorten by 1 1/2 inches to wear with flat sandals and trainers. Wish there were other colours, I'm not a white trouser person!
