Linen Blend Drawstring Tassel Tunic Dress

Cool dress; I mean for warmer summer days as well as style-wise! Great colour, on trend, and a lot more interesting than the usual suspects. I found my normal M&S size fitted perfectly, bearing in mind this is supposed to be a loose dress. The length is just above my knee, at 5.7. I think it's going to be a very handy little number over the summer, into autumn, and while I was sorry to miss the sale, it is worth the full-price.

To be honest, instore, on the hanger I did not like this dress at all. It really has no 'hanger appeal'. However, my husband persuaded me to try it on as he thought it would suit me. I'm very glad he did because as soon as I looked in the mirror in the changing room I could see that my husband was right. The length is perfect for me (5ft tall), and the colour is great with my garden tan! I haven't washed or ironed it yet, and I suspect it will 'seat', but hopefully not as badly as the linen shorts I bought a few years ago. Fingers crossed as I enjoy wearing this dress.

I know that the dress is designed to be a loose-fit so I chose size 8 but it was huge and completely shapeless. I would have looked more elegant wearing a bin bag. I know that it is linen but it seemed very poor quality linen and appeared very worn/bobbly. I was very disappointed.

I ordered a size smaller after reading previous reviews which was a good fit, other than length. Too short for me so has been returned. Please m & s let's have dresses in a choice of lengths.

Normally, M & S dresses are a good fit. Just tried this on and it is massive! I'm a size 16 and I think I could fit into a size 12! Too late to take it back now and there are no more size 12 or 14's left so I'll have to take it in myself. Lesson to myself not to leave it so long before trying on!!!

The colour was unattractive, fit was large and very loose.

Bought a size down after reading reviews. However, had to return as my husband thought the colour was hideous.
