Leather Welted Brogue Shoes

I am now the proud owner of both the black @ tan shoes & couldn't be happier my first pair (tan) I agree with other posts were a little on the large side however having just bought the black pair in the same size they fit perfectly. They are super stylish & great value well done M&S!!

Excellent quality shoe - i took the advice of several other reviewers and ordered a size smaller than my usual and they fit perfectly. I only wish that they would restock the brown pair as well i have been waiting for these for a while now.

I bought these in tan and on opening the box was absolutely delighted - the shoes look (and smell) fabulous. Unfortunately, on trying them on it became clear that, as other reviewers have observed, they are absolutely enormous - I am a wide fitting (G) size 8, but an 8 in these shoes was far too big and felt like at least a size 9. I would have liked to exchange them for a size 7, but again, as other reviewers have noted, the tan version of this shoe is at best available in a limited range of sizes and most of the time seems to be unavailable in any size - and it is apparently never available in a size 7. So, would a size 7 suit someone who usually takes an 8? Who knows! While out of the box the shoes seem to be beautifully made, I have had no option but to return them and have no idea how they might wear over time. If M&S supplied these shoes in half sizes and actually had them in stock on a regular basis, I'm sure they would have a winner. As it is, this has been a time consuming and really frustrating and disappointing purchasing experience. M&S can and should do better.

Loved them until I put them on, I am a classic size 9 F or G fitting, initially the width was great, they felt really comfortable until I walked in them and they were falling off. I took them off unlaced even with the laces tight, they felt like a large size 10, very disappointing.

M&S is hitting it out of the park with these brogues. Stylish and timeless, yet up-to-date styling. The beautiful leather, traditional (fully replaceable!) heels and gorgeously stitched inner soles speak of craftsmanship that would command £200+ anywhere else. I had four compliments in the first week wearing my tan ones. Fool your friends -- skip the real Savile Row and spend your money wisely on these! Note: Recommend ordering 0.5-1 size down from normal. I ordered a size down as others have recommended, and they fit perfectly in length, a smidge too tight in the toe at first, but have opened up nicely after two weeks of wear. Very comfortable now, walked all day during holiday with nary an ache.

One of the best men's products M&S do, but the buyers and merchandisers are completely failing to keep Tan colour way in stock. Been out of stock in most colours for at least 2 months. Please buy great products in greater depth!

Normally size 8 is perfect for me but these shoes are just too big. A size 7 is too small. Agree with most other comments. Half sizes required or adapt a UK norm for sizing.

I bought these fabulous shoes in the tan colour for my husband as a Christmas present he was absolutely delighted with them they are very good quality shoes and look very smart and stylish he is between sizes10 and 11 so after reading all the reviews I decided to order a size10 which he said were very comfortable but he did need to wear a slightly thicker sock with these shoes as the shoes come up a little larger than the stated size

Really pleased with my purchase, lots of comments about the quality and style.
