I bought these shoes a year ago (when they were actually less expensive than now). They have lasted a year, having worn them in rain and sunshine. They are comfortable and elegant. The only negative point is that due to the construction of the sole material, they have now started to "disintegrate". I was debating whether to have them repaired; however, it would cost half the price of the shoes to do so. Therefore, I am ordering another pair.

I was drawn to these shoes as a new summer option, slightly smarter than the usual boat-shoes. Aesthetically, the styling is excellent, the shape of the toe is especially good, rounded without being pointy. When I tried the shoes on in-store, it was immediately apparent that the sizes are very big. Swayed by the styling however I decided to buy a half-size smaller than usual. I wore the shoes out for the first time today and they were horrendous, even wearing the half-size smaller they began to flap away from my heel making it extremely difficult to walk like a normal human being. I returned home to change the shoes after maybe 10 minutes, and my disappointed was exacerbated when I discovered that the stitching in the heel of one shoe had already started to come away. Stitching failure after only 10 minutes of slow walking is not something I would expect from marks & spencer, very poor quality control. Avoid at all costs, unless as a gift for someone you don't like.
