the leather soled shoes wear thru too quickly, the styles with rubber inserts are much better value with the cost of repairs nowadays

This the the fifth pair of Autograph Jeffery-West shoes I have had from M&S. At £69 a pair - they are reasonable value. They have a leather sole with rubber 'grip' and they feel well made to begin with, very comfortable, but after a few months it becomes apparent that the sole is actually quite thin. The rubber eventually wears away and starts to come up at the edges (this is after 4 months of wearing 3 times a week). I took a pair back a few months ago and they were exchanged with no questions. I will be returning this pair also and I expect they will exchange them again.

I've worn these shoes once.....and they look old already. This is only the second pair of shoes I've bought from M&S and both times have been very disappointed.

I really like the Jefferey West - Autograph collaboration, but have found consistently that the soles wear very,very quickly! If you can pick a pair with the rubber inset into the sole, lasts so much longer. The styles are first rate, but if they are needing to be re-soled after a few months (3) the shape deteriorates.

Smart stylish shoes, which are very comfortable. Well constructed. An excellent product.
