Leather Scallop Trim School Shoes (Younger Girls)

This is a lovely looking shoe, perfect for school. My daughter found these very comfortable. However after just 1 day's wear, they were scuffed. I realise this is due to my daughter going on the climbing wall in the school playground, but surely school shoes should be tougher than this? That said, I would probably buy these again as they are more affordable than shoes bought elsewhere.

At first glance these look like good robust shoes, but five weeks in they are worn out, therefore do not represent good value for money. I echo the comment about scuffing on first wear. Can live with that, but now the heels are worn through. My daughter does not drag her feet, but the chunky soles are not as chunky as the might first appear. They are hollow and so have taken no time to wear down. I would not buy these again despite the good fit, the quality for the price is poor and I do not recommend them

We have been having trouble finding shoes that are comfortable for our daughter and spending a lot of time going from shop to shop. I think her foot has grown slightly wider than before. Luckily we came across this pair and while she was slightly vague if this one fits well she had changed her mind after wearing them for one day. Very happy now!

Simple and elegant shoes, good fit for size (my 5.5 yr old has slightly narrow feet). My daughter liked the details - embossed flowers and scalloped edges. A 'won't regret' purchase.

I am a massive fan of m&s clothing and shows, and always prefer the quality. Last year my twins had a pair of m&s school shoes and they lasted the whole school year they were brilliant. This year however they both chose different styles. This pair, not cheap at £24.. I am extremely disappointed in these shoes. 1 day they looked good for. Now they look terrible. That is not "wear and tear". The other pair we got (different style) are completely fine. I have tried emailing m&s to complain would usually believe they do not have a complaint forum!
