Kids' Leather Riptape Trainers

I bought these trainers for my 4 year old son specifically to wear daily to his nursery. I am writing this review almost a year after purchasing and the trainers are still intact after thorough wear and tear. Good quality material, good colour retention, stylish and great fit.

My little boy has had three pairs of these, he's always out grown them before wearing them out. Very smart. Great quality boots, suitable for a wider foot.

We bought these for my 5yr old back in September as a winter school shoe, and I am hugely impressed. They've lasted so well and the quality matches that of shoes we've paid twice the price for in the past. The colour is lovely - a great alternative to black for school (unlike the other review, I'd say ours are the same tan shade as pictured) They are quite wide fitting which is ideal for my son who has fairly big feet, but the velcro fasteners could be pulled tighter to fit a child with narrower feet too. The rubber toe means they haven't scuffed at all, and he still wears them to school every day, nearly 5 months after we bought them. Super impressed with these, and will re-purchase them for as long as they do his size.

I purchased these boots online for my son who has size 10 feet. To begin with, I don't think these boots should go past a size 5 or 6 as the shaping looks completely wrong (especially around the bulbous toe) for larger sizes. The quality looks alright, but I couldn't get past the awful colour. On the website, the brown looks okay, but in real life it's a very strange milk chocolate colour. Not very nice at all. If the colour had been more tan or a much darker brown, the overall look would be dramatically improved. No surprise they were returned!!
