Leather Pointed Toe Lace Up Shoes

I bought these shoes for my son and they have cut both his feet at the back and left blisters around the big toe area of one foot. They are so bad they cannot be worn. On the back of the shoes there is a slight ridge which rubs on the heel. I would not recommend these shoes for comfort.

I agree with the lady who says these shoes ripped her son's heels to shreds. I bought same style (Pointed Gibsons) from M&S on 12/2/11 for £49.50. I've been v pleased with them, so much so had them re soled etc as really comfy. Decided to buy another spare pair on 18/12/13 £55. Wore around house on next 2 evenings and wore for a meeting on 20/12/13 but soon realised not as soft / comfy as first pair. Bought blister plasters straight away. Despite plasters and 2 pairs of socks, these shoes rubbed skin off my heels and I could hardly walk. Cut back soft leather? Quality definitely fallen and 'not fit for purpose'.

Nice style but too big. Heel fitting is too loose instead of a nice snug fit, and when laced up there is not enough space between the eyelets to allow for this gap narrowing further as the shoes become worn in.

Unless my son wears blister plasters and thick socks they rip his heels to shreds. Had a cheaper similar style of shoe from M&S last year with no problems perhaps the leather heel is too hard?

I purchased these shoes for my son for work. He is wearing them and finds them stylish and comfortable.
