Leather Organiser Tote Bag

Haven't used it yet but it has loads of useful space, and it is perfect sizing for British Airways new smaller handbag allowance (not sure if the handles will have to be tucked in).

Needed a business bag as a gift for my daughter - the size, and the style, was paramount. Delighted to find this online because the measurements given in the description more than matched what was needed. I did try to find it in two stores first but neither stocked it. Really disappointed to find, on delivery,that the description is quite wrong - it says (above) that the all important width is 41cm in the description - it is in fact 38cm and unfortunately the missing 3cm makes all the difference for my daughter's notebook. The "length" is stated as 49cm - I assumed they meant "height" (from base to where it closes) but which in reality is just 28cm. M&S have measured instead to the handle top, which means nothing practical. We need to know the capacity of the bag (although knowing the length of just the handles, from top of handle to top edge of the bag is also useful if intending to carry it on your shoulder). All in all a total mix up and the description should be much much clearer. On top of this, my bag arrived with a visible scratch on the handles base and also included the security alarm! The style is however very good - perfectly organises work and personal items in a neat, understated design. I am not that keen on the chunky visible zips as they and the ordinary matt leather don't make this bag look expensive. But I think my daughter would have loved it.

Had been searching for a bag to take my laptop and papers for a while, and had given up on finding a smart leather laptop bag that felt like great value. Looked at the M&s one in line and then checked it out in store to make sure it was right for me. Having used it for 2 weeks now everyday, I'm super pleased with it. Everything I wanted in a bag. Would really like to see these in another few colours to provide a 'pop' of colour to my corporate clothing! Very well done to the buyer/technical manager designed this.

This bag is very well made from quality leather. Purchased on line after pondering for a while. It is a very smart work bag with all the good size pockets you could ever need. I know the measurements are given but I was hoping for something that wasn't quite so big so am reluctantly returning.

Just what I wanted. Separate spaces for lots of items. Love the middle pocket for iPad and phone. Like structured shape and stiff handles. Handy to pick up from floor as I have a back problem so no need to bend too far.

I love this bag as a holiday accessory. There is a padded compartment for my tablet. Two separate zipped sections, one for travel documents and currency and the other for my purse, make-up bag etc. There is also a space in between where my glasses and sunglasses are safely stored. There is also a pouch pocket on one side should you want to carry a magazine or newspaper. This bag is so versatile and smarter than the average hand luggage.

Read the reviews before I bought this bag and I can only repeat what they say. Perfect size, love the two sections, I use the laptop section for paperwork (A4) and the other section for personal stuff. The space between the sections even has a press stud, which is useful for gloves, maps etc as its easy to access. Highly recommend it. Would be great to have it in other colours.

This bag comfortably hosts everything I need to be able to go about business meetings: Laptop, phone, meeting notes, business cards, purse, makeup and a brolley all fit well! More stylish than a briefcase. Excellent M&S, well done!

Purchased for work - I use one half as a handbag, the other for documents and usually don't need a separate briefcase! It's practical and looks good.
