I agree with the previous reviewer about the fit. They are good for a narrower foot. I also concur that the darker section is a very much darker blue. I still think they look good though. I have a similar pair in a burgundy colour which I got last winter season and also a pale blue and cream pair which I got in Summer. M&S also had them in orange but that is a colour of limited usefulness. More colours would be good M&S - red would be obvious for this season but maybe some kind of pattern - I think they would look good in animal print or a check pattern.

I've been searching for a smart brogue which isn't too clumpy or wide — I have a fairly narrow foot. I'm also a half size which is really awkward as I usually end up in a shoe which is too big. I'm not normally a huge fan of M&S shoe quality/style but these are fabulous.They fit beautifully, are really 'different' to look at and the quality is worth the higher than usual M&S price tag. I'm delighted with them.

I was really looking for a pair of stylish shoes to wear to work, that had stryle and personality. I thought these were it! But, the colour is different from the photo on the webpage. The photo shows a more indigio blue, and the shoes that have arrived are darker. (Shame that I cannot upload a picture to show a comparison!) Also, from the photo, I thought the darkest areas would have been leather, but they are velvet and a bit shiny. Overall, they fit well and I would say they are snug along the edge of my feet but comfortable. The detailing is pretty but I would be concerned that the sole has almost no grip. Disappointing, and likely to be returned due to them not being a true likeness in the colour.
