Large Pillar Candle

I have always purchased my candles from M & S because they are such good value . When the 20% offer was advertised I decided to buy six to last over the Christmas and New Year . I would highly recommend these candles.

I don't usually leave product reviews and even in this case wasnt going to but I received an automated email asking me to review the candles. The candles are good value for money, attractive and generally all round candley. HOWEVER I would recommend not ordering these online as the packaging is woefully inadequate and the 12 candles I ordered all arrived broken in half. The replacement set of 12 candles sent out where also all broken. Eventually I asked them to reserve some in store for me and I drove to pick them up and got sorted. Fair play to M&S they did not offer any resistance to replacing the candles at all.

I have tried several church style candles and I usually have 5 of different heights burning on a glass plate at the same time, these in my opinion are excellent and last for ages - just leave a little gap between them or the wax will overflow and melt into the shorter ones so they won't last as long.

I have two large candlesticks which I use all year round but it is very difficult to get reasonably priced pillar candles. Saw these on the website and ordered 4 with fingers crossed. They are a perfect fit and I have to admit, very slow burners so they have turned into a very economical purchase. I am still on the first two candles which have been lit almost permanently since beginning December and they are still only halfway burned down.

I used this candle over Christmas and it burned straight down the middle in 4hrs! I will not be replacing with a Marks and Spencer candle!

Excellent candle. Great value for money and lasts for ages.
