Large Oscar Blown Glass Pendant Ceiling Light

I would defy anyone to assemble this light fitting... Yes it is beautiful but the instructions are like a Chinese puzzle... they do not make sense... we are about to give up and return it, even our electrician could not figure it out... My main gripe is that all the negative comments on the review with the same problem seem to have been deleted!

We have put this light in our bedroom, it is beautiful, bright and very twinkley. The glass shades are very delicate and allow a lot of light to be generated. It was very easy to assemble, an electrician installed it, the instructions are simple to follow. One important point worth noting is the drop on this light means it can only be installed in a room with a higher than average ceiling. The drop can be shortened but the overall effect would be lost. I really struggled over which colour to go for and eventually opted for champagne. I would also love the silver and it would be ideal if it were possible to buy the alternative set of shades seperately, allowing change of look.

Adds such a sense of elegance to the room and is a piece of art. Even when it's not turned on. It's very easy to fit, experience not required.

This purchase was made knowing it might not be what we wanted. It was very difficult to tell what it would look like in situ as it would require complete assembly - looked very complicated and time consuming to do. And once assembled, would we be able to return it? Also how much light would come through the dark coloured shades? The champagne coloured set which we would have preferred was discontinued despite being in the new catalogue. We decided to give up on it and returned the product. The M&S service as ever was excellent.
