Lace Shift Dress

Lovely dress but not suitable for my pear shape, so have returned to the store.

This is a lovely dress, although pricey. Got size 10 in navy which fitted well, so ordered a black one as well. This is when the problem started. There is great inconsistency in the black, tightness at the sides on one, seams not straight, tight at the bottom. After trying SIX black dresses finally got one which matched the super fit of the blue. And another bonus, the one which was OK was in the sale!

The dress fits lovely, bought for me by my partner, the lace at the bottom looks great on the legs. If you have a bit of a tummy, this dress is ideal to cover those little bulges.

looks beautiful on and very comfortable. Would buy in another colour if there was one. Definitely recommend for others to buy.

I love this dress. It is smart and elegant and I can't wait to wear it on holiday. It is well made and although it does not come in a choice of lengths (I am tall) it is OK for me with a generous skirt length. It is versatile and I will be able to dress it up with various colours, ie shoes, accessories, etc.

Looked good on line. Unfortunately I felt this dress was of poor quality with no shape.I have returned the dress.

I was looking for one more dress for evenings and spotted this one. Very pleased with it. Although it is a shift dress it has a bit of shape. I am 5'1 and it wasn't too long which was good as shortening it wouldn't be an option. The navy blue colour was a nice change from black. As it is lace it will probably be easy to catch so need to be carefully with earrings, bracelets and catches on bags, but a very nice addition to wardrobe.

I ordered this dress online and when I tried it on was happy until I looked at the back in the mirror.The stitching of the lining was pulled very tight so the dress did not hang properly.I needed to wear the dress the following day so went and got a different dress from a different store and this dress was returned.Poor workmanship has lost you this sale M&S

I wore this dress to church and then out to lunch and I have never had so many compliments in one day before,even my husband compliment ed me, Two of my friends thought it was a designer dress,it looked so good,I want to buy a second one but I don't like the other colours,
