Utterly ridiculous lengthOh dear, what has happened to these good old M&S staples? The once perfectly fitting basic t-shirt has transformed into a skinny tube that comes down nearly to my knees.
I am still buying them because I haven't been able to find a reasonably priced equivalent anywhere else. However, each time I buy an M&S t-shirt nowadays, I have to head straight to my local haberdashery to buy matching thread, then go home and cut 4 inches off the bottom and re-hem.
It's not on! Why can't M&S offer short-medium-long options on basic tops, just as they do on trousers? Women are not all 7ft tall. I am 5'1" and very, very fed up!

Disappointed!I bought three of these crew neck long sleeve t-shirts in different colours. After one wear of the grey one the back of the bottom hem unravelled. I have stitched it back up! I have washed the white one twice and the hem is going to unravel! So far so good with the hem of the the rose one but it has slightly shrunk and has not been tumble dried!
Dissapointed is an understatement. The price was a factor in my purchase as I thought they were good value for money, but it is not good value when they fall apart or shrink. I feel that the quality of a lot of the clothing is not as good as it once was unfortunately. I should really take them back!!

Soft, comfortable, warmThis t-shirt is surprisingly warm when layered over a vest. It is very soft and comfortable on the skin, even without using fabric conditioner. I need to replace mine as they have shrunk considerably, but I have had good use out of them. They started out as 16s and are now 10s (my actual size but I like a loose fit).
Since it is only warm enough for a short sleeved t-shirt about six weeks of the year in this country, perhaps this style could be made available in-store year-round; in many more colours. One needs to try them before buying because they are usually inconsistent in the fit.
A great 'what to wear when you don't know what to wear' garment.

DisappointedThese looked great to start with and were a good price too, but they do say that 'if it looks too good to be true then it probably is' and that was the case here. Last year, I bought two grey and two black tops to go with my winter work gear and was pleased to start with, but the quality didn't last long at all. The fabric became baggy after a few washes and then all the tops shrank, so the sleeves aren't long enough any more and the body is too short, though they weren't washed on high temperature nor tumble dried. It would be good if M&S paid more attention to quality control.

Love these to wear under a shirt.I purchased a few of this type of long sleeved t-shirts. They are so soft, warm and fit really well. I love to wear them under shirts, not just to look nice but because they are warm! I especially like this type as the neckline isn't as low as a lot of the fashions today.
The T-shirt is a really good length, the sleeves are not overly long, (as some seem to be now days!), and they wash, dry and iron wonderfully.! The only criticism I have are the sleeves could be a bit less 'skinny'. This is - sadly! - happening on all the fashions today.
You will not be disappointed, these are very nice. Skinny sleeves and all!

DisappointingI thought when I saw this t shirt "at last" just what I am looking for , good colour, cotton, plain styling, perfect !
Oh dear, how wrong can you be? body shape , not too bad, but not good, neckline too wide, sleeves, I am average length, these were made for a monkey !!!
I have shopped with M&S all my life, always found all I want & more till last few years, not recently, my goodness how standards have dropped, quality ,styling, fabrics, straight out the window ???
Whoever are your Buyers , Designers M&S?
If there was a cheap & awful sign above your Womens 's Fashion department, you would save everyone a lot of wasted time !
Can no longer find ANYTHING that I want to buy,
I am not alone, my friends all say the same & look elsewhere for their clothes ?
Something to think on I feel !!!

Fed-up with "body con"!I used to love M&S tshirts. They were a staple of my wardrobe and I expected to buy several each season. But the "bodycon" fitting looks dreadful on a pearshaped figure like mine - and there's no alternative available. They're also too long for someone who's only 5ft 1. I've had to go elsewhere for my tshirts. Come on, M&S
- I'd much rather be buying from you - get back to what you used to do so well - a range of colours, sleeve lengths and fittings in pure cotton. It's crazy to be driving away loyal customers who want to stay with you!

A lovely top but sizing has changed!!!!I have bought these tops in previous years and a size 12 has always been perfect for me. This year when I ordered 2 online they arrived 2ins too big in every area. I had to take them back and try on size 10 in store. The grey size 10 was fine but the white one, made in a much clingier fabric was too tight on my arms and chest and so I had to reject it. Very disappointed by the way M & S keep changing sizing and styling of everyday garments.
