2 pack slim fit is slimmer than 3 packI ordered the slim fit shirts in a 2 pack & a 3 pack so that my son would have 5. one for every day of the week. I was amazed to find that the 3 pack are quite a lot wider in the body than the 2 pack in the same size!! The 3 pack does not have the darts in the back giving a slimmer fit where as the 2 pack does. There is no difference in the description of the 2/3 packs. If you want a proper slim fit shirt go for the 2 pack with the darts in the back rather than the 3 pack.

A little disappointedMy son is not fat. In fact, he's on the petite side. He's 10 and I ordered these shirts for him online in size 11-12 expecting them to be enormous, but I wanted them to fit him next year, not now.
In fact, they are a little tight. The shirts are tapered with darts - more like a girl's blouse. And they are very, very long. I'm not sure whether we just got a bad batch, whether my son is an odd shape or what? It's very difficult to know the difference between these shirts which all have a similar description. We also bought some slim fit shirts with an easy iron label (a three pack) in size 10-11. They fit perfectly with a bit of growing room. I don't understand the sizing.
By the way, these shirts do not come with a pocket either. I think I will stick to the easy iron slim fit three pack. It think they're better value and a much better fit.

Looks like a girls blouseHad I been able to see in the photos better the design of these shirts I would have never wasted my money.
By the time I took them out of the packaging it was too late to return them. The seams are shaped as though they are for girls and made even worse by the scalloped edge. My son is quite rightly refusing to wear them for fear of being teased.
All other shirts are now out of stock so I will be buying supermarket shirts in desperation.

Slim fit shirtsLook like blouses. Seams are too prominent and the fit is not suitable for an older boy at all. Such a shame as the slim fit is ideal but the styling is not. Will be returning.

Good quality school shirtGood slim fit shirt with two seams running down each side.
Although they are supposed to be iron free, I do still give them the once over with an iron especially the collar and to put a seam down the sleeves.
Material feels much better than some of the cheaper options.

Boys' Slim Fit Ultimate Non-Iron Short Sleeve ShirVery smart shirt and wonderful fit for my very slender grandson. Most shirts like this one are often baggy on him. I really like the idea and the option to purchase a 'slim fit' for him. He loves to dress up and this shirt paired with the sleeveless vests that I also purchased from M&S look super.
Keep up the good work. You must have an exceptional gifted 'buyer'.

Mixed resultsI ordered these shirts for my 15 yr old son. The fit and style was excellent for him. We have bought this style before from M&S and we were very pleased with them, unfortunately, M&S seem to have changed the material for these shirts, so my son does not like the feel of them as they are stiff and thick. I would recommend this shirt to other parents, but would tell them about the stiffness of the material (even after washing them). I feel that the price of the shirts are a little steep, but then that's down to the quality of M&S.

A bit feminine looking for a boys shirt! While the quality and fit are great…just as expected from M&S, the "Slim Fit" style shirts have very visible dart seams that look very much like a blouse. My 6 year old son hasn't noticed so thats ok, but I just don't like the look of them for a boy.
However, I cannot fault the quality of the shirt fabric. Other than the style, it is a decent non-iron shirt.
