Boys School Shirts made easy! This is a big hit with my son and me ! Finally a shirt with a Velcro fastening hidden underneath the top button. What a difference this makes to getting ready in the morning. Following a Christmas growth spurt, I reluctantly had to buy some bigger shirts after only a term's use. with limited choice available at this time of year I had to opt for the higher priced 2x shirt pack, however was pleasantly surprised by the added benefit of the Velcro. Thanks M&S

Loving the fact that I don’t have to Iron these :)I absolutely love the fact that I don’t have to iron these shirts, you may think you have to if they’ve been left sitting in the dryer over night but ½ hour on a coat hanger and they’re fit to wear. I also love the velcro top button and elastic button cuff.
It’s prob just be me with high expectations but the stain repellent isn’t as good as I’d hoped. Most things don’t stain but I have had to soak the shirt in a stain remover to get spag bol splatters out.
Only other tiny niggle (this is just me being picky) I’d prefer to see smaller collars (I’ve never been a fan of fly-away collars)

What a shame!Twice in a week a complaint has had to be made with regard to these shirts. Firstly after 3 washes the collar on one of the shirts had become bubbled up at one side, as though it had parted company with the stiffener.
One of the replacement shirts was then found to be wrongly sewn at the cuff i.e. sleeve not fully attached to the cuff leaving a raw edge sticking up. This was only noticed as the shirt was being ironed, after having been washed and the name tag attached in preparation for wearing. Very annoying as the shirts were in sets of two, and the whole process of name tags has now to be done a third time. These shirts have never caused a problem over the last seven years. Please check this year's supplier!

Truly Non IronGreat shirts for busy mums. Apart from after the first couple of washes, as the shirts 'relax' from their initial stiffness, they do not need ironed. Even after the first wash, they barely need touched by the iron to remove the packing creases (I always wash shirts before they are worn for the first time!). After that, they can be worn straight off the washing line - once they're dry! They do not need to be tumble dried to be non iron.
Wore well. I will keep buying these for as long as my boys need them for school

Good school stapleI have bought these before as school uniform for my son, and was pleased with them. This time he told me he found the material a bit too stiff (even after washing, which I have with the others we own) and not as comfy as some of his other older M&S shirts, so I have returned them for the lightly cheaper (softer) 'non iron' shirts, but there is nothing wrong with these at all from a mother's point of view!
They wash and wear very well, and retain their (white) colour and smartness for lots of washes. I would have kept them if it was not for my fickle son.

Boys School ShirtI always buy M & S shirts for my son. I have never ironed any and he is in Year 5! He always looks smart and loves wearing his short and tie. I wish the neck was slightly bigger, it is a little snug. It was difficult when he was younger because I was concerned I would catch his neck when doing it up for him. This has not stopped me buying them and I will continue through the rest of his school career.
When I give them away at the end of the school year they still look like new!

Dual sizing is uselessI tried to get ahead of the game & order my children's shirts for September with 20% off. I went on-line only to discover I couldn't get the ultimate non-iron in a single size as I did last year. I had to order dual size. I checked their heights and went for the appropriate sizes and was pleased to receive my order with free postage. Both my children tried their shirts on only to discover they were too long in the sleeve and enormous round the neck. Very disappointed as I then had to return them.

My sons school shirtsMy son is a slim 15 year old 6ft 3. Last year the sleeves were short but he wore the shirts as I have always bought m&s shirts for the quality and durability. The shirts this year have perfect length sleeves but the sleeves are stitched to the body on too much of a curve and there is little to no room for movement!
I measured, my Son had 161/2 collar last year and this, the armholes this year are at least an inche shorter and definitely too curved.
Shame because my Son has Aspergers and has always accepted these shirts previously - he dislikes any new clothes as a rule.
