Vintage: 2019

A particularly ripe and fruity example of the fine French classic. This modern, youthful Sancerre has all the dry elegance, freshness and flinty edge typical of the style, but plenty of rich lemon flavour too.

About this bottle: The naturally expressive Sauvignon Blanc variety thrives in the limestone and clay hills of Sancerre, in the Loire Valley of northern France. This vibrant yet subtle wine is charged with flinty intensity and supple grace.

An intense bone-dry sherry with orange zest, dried plums, almonds and fruit cake notes.

About this bottle: This is a rare example of Palo Cortado from one of the very finest sherry producers, Emilio Lustau. Bone Dry yet rich with flavours of prune, orange zest and Dundee cake. This complex wine is intense, persistent and utterly enchanting. Palo Cortado wine are made by only a handful of producers in very limited availability. It is a style somewhere between an Amontillado and an Oloroso.

Vintage: 2012

This lusciously sweet wine is rich with aromas of pineapple, orange blossom and cardamom followed by intense flavours of ripe apricots, marmalade and honey.

About this bottle: M&S winemaker Sue Daniels has selected grapes grown on the Paul Cluver Estate in the cool coastal Elgin region.

Vintage: 2016

A bright, medium-bodied Pinot Noir from Oregon with intense blueberry and raspberry fruit flavours and a lively finish.

About this bottle: Oregon’s rich, pine forest-studded landscape and gentle marine influence make a unique climate for producing Pinot Noir with freshness and elegance. M&S Winemaker Belinda Kleinig was excited and inspired by the purity of wines produced in the region and was delighted to discover this particularly refreshing example. The wine is made by talented local winemaker Greg Bauer using Pinot Noir grapes sourced mainly from the Umpqua Valley in the south of the state.
