Hooded Funnel Neck Panelled Coat with Stormwear™

We were looking for a practical, hard-wearing Winter coat for my son, suitable for schoolwear, & this ticked all the boxes. It's robust, well-made & warm without being too bulky. The hood & body are mainly fleece-lined with some quilt lining at the bottom, & the sleeves are lined too. The hood is practical - not too wide - & can be fastened with press studs. There are plenty of pockets & a big label to write/ stick your child's name in to prevent any coat confusion at school! Good value for money given that it has a stormwear finish, & my son really likes it. Just one point: the sizing is very small. My son will be 11 in a couple of months, is of average height & very slim. The 11-12 coat was an okay fit over a shirt but too tight when he tried with a thick jumper, & there wasn't much growing room lengthways. Ended up buying in age 13-14 - it's a bit on the big side but looks absolutely fine, & will at least last him through the Winter!
