Front Pockets Tunic Denim Dress

I've been wanting an easy to wear denim dress for ages and at last I have one! This is lovely. Nice fabric, lovely details on the pockets. This will be a wardrobe staple for years.

The fabric is absolutly perfect. Exacly what I wanted: denim-feeling, rather thin, should work during spring, summer, automn. But what a strange style! What kind of body is this made for? I'm a normal size 8 (EU 36) and I bought an 8. The dress is alright from hips and down. If I had took a smaller size, I wouldn't be able to get it over my hips. But the dress is huge over the shoulders, with gigantic holes for arms. So if you are big-chested, with very small hips, this might fit you. Actually _you_ would be very pleased with this dress. Otherwise not so much... So would I recommend it to a friend? It really depends on the friend's body type.
