Nice shoes but agree with previous comments buckle very difficult to open and close. Bought in sale so a bargain.

The heels wore out very quickly. By 6 months the shoes needed re-heeling as they'd worn down entirely. Not brilliant for school shoes! Otherwise, lovely shoes in every way...

Ordered a size six for my daughter to wear to school. Had to return them. Lovely looking shoes, but they were really big - felt like a 6.5 or 7 which was a shame as these were one of the few pairs that both my 11 year old and I liked ! I suggest ordering 2 sizes for choice.

Lovely school shoes for my 9 year old shoe-aholic granddaughter. She thinks they are great, they fit well and she is eager to wear them, always a bonus!

They are comfortable and seem long lasting...but the straps seem very bad quality. They are hard to put on (putting the strap on) and when my daughter first tried them on the straps look like their going to tear apart. The don't seem nice looking as well.

The shoes from patent leather is better for school because they very well stand scratches and worn.

Bought these for my teenage daughter for school. Price is good compared to other high street brands. Bought when they had 20% discount so saved even more. Daughter liked the classic style with a modern twist. She's worn these for five days and noticed the leather is wearing a little near the buckle so will be checking them regularly to see if the quality is there......

Look good, comfortable and she is very happy to wear them!

My daughter loved the look of these shoes so we ordered them on line. When they arrived, however, the buckles were extremely stiff, and the leather was also a bit on the inflexible side, so she didn't find them very comfortable. We returned them (top marks to M&S for having a great returns deal).
