Like other reviewers I have to say that mine don't stay up either and I don't have slim calves! The socks are nice and thick and I like the knit and colours but they do slip down which is a pain.

I always have the same problem with all M & S socks. I am a size 4 and socks are always too big! With these ones the heel comes right up behind my ankle and is uncomfortable and also looks silly. Why can men buy different sized socks, but ladies have to put up with ones that don't fit! Also like other reviewers I found that they slipped down when I walked for any length of time.

These socks fit well and are just what I needed for this Cold weather.

It was available one size.. but it so loose for me.. it keeps falling off the knee.

....of long socks if they will not stay up. These socks are a lovely length, soft and warm but they will not stay up so what is the point of buying long socks. Please M&S sort this out as you do have a good product here. (wish I read the reviews before I bought these socks)

I could not believe how quickly these socks fell down when I was wearing them. They have no grip at all and will only be of any use if I use garters which I never have before or wear tights with them maybe. If I can get to a store before too long I will be asking for a refund as they are not really fit for use. They are warm.

Super warm and long. They do not fall down even on my embarrassingly skinny legs! I bought them in the sale so they were a bargain - the only thing that has fitted me this year! My only gripe is the horrid hard raised toe seam which I find uncomfortable and so I wear them inside out! Could we have flat, comfortable toe seams on socks and woolly tights please M&S?

I am one of those people who never gets warm in winter. Always suffer with chilblains on cold toes, I have tried everything. Now I have found the answer. These socks are great. Good length to keep whole leg warm. At last my feet are almost warm. Some reviews comment that they fall down but I have just walked the dog for over an hour and they are still clinging cosily to me knees. Great!!

really nice socks ,warm and cosy ,only small moan,they did tend to fall down sometimes but would still purchase these again
