First Readers Snow White And The Seven Dwarfs Book

Always a lovely story for children and something that will stay with them when older.

Great for a book-at-bedtime, plus it has all the attributes to entice a slow or reluctant reader in the 7-9 age range: colourful (young) pictures, large font (like junior handwriting), few words per page and limited vocabulary. Best of all, I like the introductory advice to the adult reader. It encourages listening, discussion about the text and invites the youngster to "share" the story by reading, initially, the single sentences on the right hand page. With repetition, they will gradually join in and read more.

I bought this for my 2 1/2 year old daughter as a stocking filler along with some other titles and I am pleasantly pleased by the size and quality. M&S really does 'do' Christmas !
