European Duck Down Pillow

I have had one of these pillows before and it was (still is fine). I thought I'd buy another, but like a few other reviewers this new one stank of goats! We tried to air it a bit outside to see if the pong would go away, but unfortunately it didn't at all, so it had to go back I'm afraid. Lovely pillow in texture, style and softness but just cannot be placed anywhere near your nose! Made me feel dizzy too!

Ooh I do love a down pillow but they're usually prohibitively expensive. Got two of these in the sale. My partner's snoring has stopped. I am sleeping blissfully through the night. They need plumping up every morning but we'd do that whatever pillows we had. This is a terrific product.

lovely soft comfortable pillow with adequate support. Feels warm and cosy. Dosnt have any nasty smells on the one ive got. Its taken me a long time to get the "right" pillow for me. very pleased with this one

I bought this pillow at the end of March and it's great. It's not hugely plump so I need a thin regular pillow to get the right height (I might get a second one of these though), but it is decently supportive and far more comfortable than any pillow I have owned before. Absolutely no issues with any sort of smell from either the pillow or packaging.

I bought this pillow a couple of weeks ago and was very pleased with it so decided to buy another one for my son. Unfortunately, this one did smell terrible and didn't have much filling. It is a completely different pillow. Will be returning it.

I have bought duck down pillows numerous times before & from various retailers including M&S.Unfortunately this one did have an unpleasant "farmyard" smell about it as mentioned in older reviews.I returned it immediately as there was no way I could sleep on it.Very disappointed as have found M&S down pillows very comfortable in the past.

Bought this for my toddler. He loves it because it's super soft. It plumps up well and the cotton cover is nice and thick. I would say it does smell like goats cheese though! Although you don't notice so much with the cover on.

I've bought down pillows for years and find this one just as expected: cosy and comfortable. Unlike some other reviewers, I didn't notice any unusual smell, just the natural feather smell, which I don't mind. The cover is tightly woven, it works to keep the down inside the pillow, as it should, and is nice to sleep on. All down pillows need to be plumped up each night and this one is no exception, but it is a nice full pillow and so far has plumped up well, though I've only been using it a few weeks and I've not washed it.

I wish I had bought them before. They are so comfortable and have had a good nights sleep feeling that I am wallowing in luxury. Glad I bought the bedding from Marks as well.
