I have purchased this in desperation of needing a new dressing gown. I do not like hoods or thick collars and also not a fan of polyester. I purchased a lovely towelling dressing gown previously it was white with spots on and wish M & S would bring this item back again. Purchased it for several people and all loved it. I could not wear mine any longer as it had reached it sell by date. After two years of searching this dressing gown was the best of a poor selection. I have very long arms and this was too long for me. Like the idea of a dressing gown with a zip.

I buy a zip-up dressing gown for my mum every Christmas. This year's purchase was the cotton rich velour dressing gown, although I haven't given it to her yet, it's lovely and soft, and a great cover up on cold mornings.
The only down-side was that the range / selection wasn't great - this was the most modern looking one I could find instore or online!

The material was very thin, which is nice if you wanted a summer dressing gown, but it's being sold in the winter! The zip had been put in wrong, so the whole dressing gown looked crooked. It had go to back sadly. Definitely not worth the money.

I needed a new dressing gown and this fits the bill perfectly. It is a good fit with a touch of femininity, which sometimes with dressing gowns can be difficult to achieve. My sister saw it and she has ordered one.

Very pleased with this dressing gown as its not too thick and bulky like most wrap around styles that make you look like a "sack of potatoes" tied up!!!!,
It has some style with having a funnel neck and zip. The velour fabric is thin enough to be warm, cozy and comfortable without being see through. The stripes give a more modern look.
I am 5'3" and the "standard" length is mid calf on me, which I like.
My only negative is the velour ribbon "draw string" waist which, I feel, is totally unnecessary. I shall be wearing mine as an A-line without the ribbon tied.
