Cotton Rich Belted Trench Coat with Stormwear™

Very prompt delivery. Struggled to find the correct size (16) in store so had to keep looking on-line until one turned up. Very pleased with the coat, looks classy

the fit is perfect, the actual coat itself is fine, albeit a bit over-priced.. but the tacky, plastic cuffs on it make it look really cheap and ruin it. The clasp to close it at the throat is also too tight. A pity- a good idea but failed on detail

I bought the equivalent M&S trench coat back in September 2014 for £99 and was so impressed with the quality. It was a trench coat, but the lining was thick making it not only very warm but waterproof. The buttons were also metal, making it look expensive and sophisticated. Unfortunately my coat was stolen recently, requiring me to buy a new one. I was excited to see a similar version this season and so purchased this one online. Sadly this season's is no where near as good. The fabric is thin and feels poor quality, making it looks like a cheap imitation of last season's coat, particularly with the plastic buttons. The sleeves are also slightly too short. Even worse, it's £30 more expensive! I will be returning. Please bring back last season's!

I have been looking for anew trenchcoat for ages, most are fairly short, but this one is a decent length, and will cover my skirts. The only thing I wonder about is the trim on the sleeves, how long will it last,and how will it stand up to dry cleaning?. Otherwise the coat is fine, and shrugs off showers.

This is a lovely coat but the faux leather on the cuffs really spoil it so it went back.

Very pleased with this purchase - like the classic look and colour of this Mac, but also like the modern touch of the brown cuff straps. I'm normally a size 10 in coats and this was perfect - enough room to wear over a suit for the office, but not so big that I can't wear it with just a blouse or thin jumper as it starts to get warmer. Hope to have for many years to come.

Just the quality and cut I've been looking for. Great quality fabric; good length for British weather cover-up; fitted but roomy enough for thick sweater. Excellent detail such as proper storm flap, belt retainers and concealed inner pocket. The thing I hated was the "faux leather" (i.e. "plastic") cuff trimming. Why spoil a good quality item with cheap trimming? I removed these, which is a bit difficult as they're stitched in (great if you like them and want to keep). I prefer without and would have given 5 starts but for this.

This coat is brilliant in quality, style and detail but i am extremely fussy. I didnt like the way it fell at the bottom. I prefer more of an A line but this was more straight down rather than out. Would still be a fantastic buy but just not for me.

I've been looking for a trench coat since last winter & at last I've found one. Thank you so much for this fab coat, I love it & it has just a little more detail than the norm which makes it different.

This coat could almost be designer :) Very happy with the look and feel.
