Cotton Rich No Peep Shirt

I bought this in the sale at a very good price. It is a good quality item of clothing and will be useful with many outfits. A bargain!

I was really excited when I saw this shirt - as someone who always has to wear another top underneath a shirt due to gaping, the hidden 'modesty panel' is actually a simple, yet genius idea. I wore the shirt once - it was a great fit, was comfortable to wear and looked very smart.... so you may be wondering why I haven't given it higher than one star. The reason for this is that after only one wash, the shirt turned grey!! This was in an all white wash. Nothing else changed colour. Added to that, the collar, cuffs and button/button hole strips are 'mottled', with small grey spots on them. I have other white shirts (from other brands) that I have had for considerably longer, and none of those have turned that shade of grey that quickly. There is no way I can wear this shirt again and I deeply regret paying as much as I did for what is now, essentially, a very dirty dishwater grey piece of fabric.

Already have this shirt in black and white. They have been very useful and in-expensive shirts. Just replacing the black one. Will replace the white one too in due course.

Wanted a black shirt, so ordered this on-line. I have just dropped a dress size and ordered my new things in size 16, everything else fitted fine, except this shirt. It was so tight, I could hardly do up the buttons and so tight on the arms, I couldn't move them, so sent back. Not sure if I want to order a size larger, very disappointed as I was so pleased with myself for losing weight and dropping a dress size!

Bought some of these blouses in black for work. The secret buttons stop them from gaping at the chest. Slightly small fit across the bust, so bought a larger size. Sadly, they do need ironing after washing

This shirt is really good quality ..it has a nice handle to it.and is really nicely made....however be aware that its quite fitted therefore i would suggest going up a size...I purchased my normal size and it was too small so unfortunately I had to return it

I was intending to wear this as part of a funeral outfit. I bought my usual size but it was a bit too small for comfort. Taking it back.

I have three of these blouses in white. The quality is really good they wash well and always look crisp and fresh. I have been very pleased with them

This shirt is amazing. I no longer have to fiddle with safety pins to prevent my colleagues seeing my bra. This shirt fits my chest without having loads of spare fabric around the waist. The fabric is a good weight, with a nice amount of stretch. Very well priced. M&S please make more of these shirts, other colours would be great. My daughter loves that you now do ‘no peep’ senior girls blouses. Please keep doing them.

The tailoring on this blouse is amazing. It's a beautiful shape because of the seaming down the front and the back. It also has a yoke on the back too. Even better is the "no peep" feature. Between the 3rd and 4th and 4th and 5th buttons are hidden buttons and button holes, which keep the blouse together. The hemline is not straight across, it's got a curved hemline; much more flattering for the legs. How they managed all this for the price is amazing.
