Cotton Blend Lace Tie Back Shell Top

Bought this to go with a white lace skirt for a wedding. The fastening at the neck is a bit tricky to get right but pleased with it when done. Overall pleased with the look.

I ordered this top to match with the A-line skirt in identical material /colour. However I wa SO disappointed with the top! It had an odd neckline, that didn't seem to fit correctly, and, although you can't see it on the photos, a weird dangly bow effort, which not only looked odd, but distinctly old fashioned. Such a shame as an 'in' colour and fabric, and thought it would be an ideal M.O.B. Wedding outfit which would have toned with 'blush' bridesmaid dresses! Skirt was totally fabulous, great length, and gorgeous colour/fabric...but no good without matching top!

This is a lovely top, chosen for me to wear to my granddaughters wedding. The size 12 is a little on the large size for me and I will try a size 10 before deciding which one to buy.

Bought this to wear with black jeans for an informal party but could so easily be put with a nice skirt or trousers for a more formal occasion. Beautiful fit. Love it!

did not like the colour - it looked better in the internet.

I thought the little raised neckline made it look a bit matronly and the colour was a drab washed-out nude-y pink. It might look better in black, but I don't know what colouring you'd need to be to find this uninteresting pink flattering. Lovely material though.

Loved the colour and the material .. just Beautiful ... but the matching skirt made me look like the size of a house ...and this too was too tight around my neck for me ... sorry as I loved the material .. sent it back !!

I saw this is store and immediately loved it but as per usual they didn't have my size - 14! Ordered online and at the same time I ordered the matching skirt. Well that was a disaster, both together and I looked like Hyacinth Bucket! Not that there is anything wrong with that but I am only 46. I have kept the top as I really like the style and colour but now I need to find a skirt or trousers that will show it off.

Lace tops seem to be everywhere lately, but this one is exceptional in my book. I like the high collar and the bow at the back can be tied in different ways to give it a slightly different look. The lace is very fine, but the only let down is the polyester lining, I would much rather have a different material that would fit the overall high quality of this item. I plan to wear it for special occasions only, but can't decide which of the two colours is prettier. I love black, but the blush one might come in handy for summer special occasions. It seems that none of the two are see- through, but that's something I would like to check again, under different light conditions.

I bought this top along with the matching skirt, on he hanger it looked lovely and the colour is very pretty, sadly when I tried it on it was such a disappointment it looked like one long piece of lace and did not suit me. I think the main problem was the skirt length (I'm 5ft 6 inches) average height and the skirt came down to my ankles (it was described as being mid length). I really liked this outfit and it's such a shame. I have mentioned in the past about M and S sizing and I really think they should look into this problem.
