Conran Wirework Table Light

My son and daughter loved this stylish lamp which we bought them for Christmas. Lovely clean lines and looks great in their home.

pleased with my new lamp it does look stylish and helps update my room without going ultra modern.

This lamp looks great until you realise the cable comes from the top of the base and so on show and for some reason is grey and NOT white. . This means the cable stands out and ruins the whole look of the lamp. It will be returned now. The hunt will continue for an all white lamp , preferably with no ugly cable on show. such a shame.

Really pleased bought it to match my whittle table so it really looks the part Conran products have a real contemporary look at an affordable price.

Saw this in the catalogue and really liked the simple elegance of the styling. Thought it was very expensive though and wanted to see it in a store before purchasing. That was a mistake - display model was dusty and the store layout in Oxford St cramped and ill conceived. However, I was still really attracted to the design concept and relying on M&S's excellent returns policy I placed an order. In my own home it is beautiful. The other reviewer who commented on the shade - it is not shere, but the light does shine through with the right bulb, with a subtle glow showing the texture of the fabric, but it is definitely not a task light. High quality construction, beautiful gray fabric covered cord. I love it............take a chance if you are thinking of buying.

This lamp is decent quality, although a little overpriced. The downside is the shade...the inside is a solid grey that doesn't let any light through the shade at all...so the light is blocked. This leads to an odd light pattern.
